With over 20 years of experience in commercial writing, editing, and translation, my work is grounded in clear, engaging storytelling across digital, print, and audiovisual media. I’ve crafted long- and short-form editorial pieces on design, architecture, food, coffee, travel, and hospitality, with published work in books and magazines.
I’ve authored and ghostwritten content for branded magazines, B2B and B2C communications, and UX copy, as well as industry articles on sustainability and innovation.

I provide editorial expertise across text-based and audiovisual media, ensuring content is engaging, cohesive, and polished at every stage:

I’ve managed multi-contributor projects – from books to magazines – coordinating diverse teams to align tone, messaging, and quality under tight deadlines.
I continuously expand my skills in editorial tools and project management platforms to adapt to evolving workflows. For text and layout, I regularly use Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
I translate from German into my native English, with an ear for rhythm, tone, and intent – so the text stays true to its source while speaking naturally to its intended audience. Most of my work has centred on architecture, urbanism, art, and holistic wellness, fields where precision, context, and subtlety matter deeply. A lifelong language learner, I’ve lived in Germany for many years and also have conversational French and a grounding in Spanish, Russian, and Vietnamese.
My transcreation work spans marketing, corporate communications, and UX copywriting, where language meets emotion and clarity. I help clients develop editorial guidelines to achieve consistency across contributors and projects. I also take on select English-to-German transcreation projects, bringing deep familiarity with both linguistic and cultural contexts.
In an era increasingly shaped by AI, I value the creative judgement and cultural awareness that only a human can bring. I use digital tools to refine that process, not replace it, so that each piece of writing remains thoughtful, authentic, and impactful.
With a background in montage from the Academy of Film & Television (HFF) in Babelsberg, Germany, I bring an understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and cinematic language. My experience includes editing short and long-form projects, as well as writing, directing, and editing my short film, Sunday Menu, which premiered at the Berlinale and screened internationally.
Beyond film, my creative work has spanned performance, photography, and visual art, enriching my approach to visual storytelling across different media.
I currently offer subtitle translation, editing, and timing for independent video projects and am open to opportunities in writing, consulting, directing, and combining my expertise in visual storytelling. I work with Adobe Creative Suite, Annotation Edit, and Final Cut Pro, and am always open to learning new tools as needed.
