by the ocean is a three-screen video installation exploring the fluid boundaries between memory, desire, and the ephemeral nature of images. The screens, arranged in a subtle ā€œZā€-shaped formation, create shifting layers of visual and sonic interplay ā€” inviting, but never insisting upon, a multiplicity of readings.

A film for three voices, by the ocean unfolds through still photographs, meditating on love and nostalgia within the liminal spaces of photography, memory, and dreams. This work continues my artistic inquiry into how personal and collective memories inhabit transient states, where absence and presence, past and present, blur into one another, and where layered identities emerge through the interplay of image, voice, and recollection.

Engaging with traditions of experimental cinema and installation art, by the ocean reflects on the fragmented nature of narrative and the poetics of stillness.
