From 2006 to 2011, I worked with Vienna- and Berlin-based aheadmedia as a contributing editor for Chopard’s dual-publication concept: Happy News and Passions. These complementary magazines, aimed at women and men respectively, highlighted Chopard’s luxury watches and jewellery through sophisticated lifestyle content.

My role involved copyediting texts of varying lengths, ensuring a balance between engaging storytelling and brand messaging. The articles covered topics from the intricacies of haute horlogerie to evocative features on fine jewellery, always with a focus on captivating readers while reflecting Chopard’s brand values. I also helped coordinate the editorial process, supporting communication between Chopard’s brand representatives, aheadmedia’s creative team, and international writers, photographers, and translators to keep projects on track and ensure a cohesive final publication.

Through this work, I developed a deep appreciation for the artistry and technical mastery behind luxury timepieces. I gained insight into the complexities of mechanical movements, the precision of complications, and the craftsmanship that defines haute horlogerie.
